Los Angeles County Superior Court Has Removed DOB Access
CURRENT COURT POLICIES IN LA COUNTY MOVE TO LIMIT BACKGROUND SCREENING AND PLACE PUBLIC SAFETY AT RISK.
A recent decision by the Los Angeles County Superior Court has resulted in these courts removing digital kiosk and online portal access to dates of birth. This decision was implemented on February 23rd with little to no notice and is impacting public records research and reporting. With previous digital access removed, record verification must now be done through court clerks, which is a lengthy and often limited process resulting in extensive delays for screening.
