My role at PBSA:

My role at PBSA is honestly just humble servant. I’ve held a lot of roles over the years in committees, on task forces, the BSCC, and the Board, but my favorite role is being a friendly resource for new and long-time members.

Why I wanted to volunteer with PBSA:

I am a bit of a fanatic when it comes to a challenge. I attended an early planning meeting before the association was officially formed and realized I could be in at the ground floor of something incredibly important. I jumped in with both feet and never looked back.

What I do when not at work:

When is that exactly? Just kidding. I’m a creative and a lifelong learner. I’m always taking courses on things that interest me. The past few years I’ve been working on improving my art skills.

What I'm reading:

I tend to have three or four books going at any given time. Currently, I’m re-reading The E Myth Revisited by Michael E. Gerber, The Hidden Life of Trees, by Peter Wohlleben, Table for Two by Amor Towles, and A Swim in a Pond in the Rain by George Saunders

Favorite website, podcast, blogs, etc.:

I am a YouTube junkie. I’ll watch anything that grabs my attention on literally any topic. Currently I’m loving Ali Abdaal’s YouTube content.

On my desk right now (books, personal items, etc.):

I’m too easily distracted to keep anything on my desk other than the bare necessities, so it’s just my favorite pen, sticky notes, a legal pad, coffee, water, and a good multivitamin.
